This research aimed to study the aptitude of B.Ed. trainee teachers towards teaching and academic achievement. The study was conducted at Aurangabad (M.S.) on the sample of 143 trainee teachers. Teaching aptitude test battery by Dr. R.P. Singh and Dr. S.N. Sharma was used to study teaching aptitude and academic achievement was obtained from the college records. On the basis of findings it was concluded that B.Ed. trainees have above average level teaching aptitude & high academic achievement. The co-efficient of correlation between teaching aptitude and academic achievement is positive and low. There is no significant difference between male and female B.Ed. trainees for both the variables.

An exploratory study to assess the nutritional status of sports women was conducted by drawing a random sample of 60 sports women from three colleges of Akola city. The data were collected with the help of pre tested questioners regarding personal information, meal and diet pattern, nutritional intake and participation in sports events. The observation scheduled was used for recording anthropometric clinical and biochemical examination. It was found that the majority of sports women was up to 19 years of age and educated up to graduation. Aquatic macrophytes are large; predominantly angiospermic plants inhabiting various aquatic ecosystems and are of considerable importance from the production point of view in shallow water bodies or in the littoral waters of the deep water bodies. They play an important role in providing food to fishes and other aquatic animals, provide shelter to algae and some animals and also play role in cycling the nutrients in the water bodies. There is no data available, on aquatic macrophytes present in this tribal district of Maharashtra, so that it was decided to study macrophytes at length. The lakes selected for the study are perennial and situated in rural areas except Gadchiroli lake. The study period for the present data is November 2003 to October 2005.

However, schedules of rotating shift work timing away from the customary clock will eventually do upset the human circadian clock. Work of this nature is of considerable significance, especially in India because present rate of growth and development in industries are to continue as well the number of shift workers is likely to increase, and if shift work posed a threat to health of workers it would become a problem of national importance.
